Micah McRae, PMP - Owner
Micah began his career in new home construction as a site foreman for a reputable custom home builder. He was in charge of the site work, foundations, utilities, concrete, grading, erosion controls and landscaping of $1M custom built homes. When Micah left residential new construction, he quickly began working in the commercial construction industry. He gained enormous experience in medical facility construction, retail construction, complex commercial site work projects and more.
After extensive research and investigation, Micah discovered he could raise industry expectations by incorporating greater engineering value and a level of professionalism not previously seen on intermediate/deep foundation projects. Micah founded Innovative Piering, LLC in 2012. He invested in equipment, tools and training. He also began hand picking the key personnel to help him begin his company. With his previous experience and expertise in foundation systems and site work, he is now excelling as a small business owner, performing piering operations, as well as other services pertaining to intermediate and deep foundation projects. These days, Micah’s duties include assisting his team with any gaps in business operations. He also is an expert heavy equipment operator and assists in the operations on a regular basis.
When Micah has spare time, he can most often be found on a motorcycle, jogging with his dog, flying small private air crafts or traveling. Micah studied Business & Marketing at Ivy Tech Community College, is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and has ICC Commercial & Residential Certifications. He is currently working on achieving an LEED Certification. Additionally, Micah is involved with numerous charitable organizations such as the Center for Women & Families, Casas Por Christo and Habitat for Humanity.
Rob Marconi - Lead Estimator and Project Manager
Rob’s background is education, specifically math. His strong math background is an asset to Innovative Piering, LLC as he is responsible for estimating and aiding in the design for intermediate foundations. Rob works daily with owners, stakeholders, manufacturers, engineers, architects and other designers to create and specify the most challenging of foundation solutions.
When Rob isn’t estimating, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, son Chas and daughter Vanna. He enjoys all sports-related activities, traveling and small household projects. Rob studied at Northern Illinois University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with an emphasis in Education. Rob also played four years of Division I Baseball and continued another six years of playing baseball professionally, most of which were with the Baltimore Orioles organization.
